At UAre, we believe high performance and well-being go hand in hand. While movement, habits, and relationships are key to living better and longer, one pillar, mindset, is often the quiet game-changer.
We’re excited to welcome Luke McLeod as the newest UAre mentor. Luke is one of Australia’s most popular thought leaders and practitioners in mindfulness and meditation, aiming to make these practices simple, relatable and practical for everyday people.
From “Meditation Isn’t for Me” to Everyday Enlightenment
Peace. Calm. Mindfulness. Enlightenment.
These words sound appealing, but they feel out of reach for most of us. Between work, family, and life’s endless to-do list, who has time to “find inner calm”?
Luke knows this feeling well. He understands the challenge of juggling multiple roles as a son, husband, and friend. Years ago, he believed meditation wasn’t for him, until it became the one practice that transformed his life, helping him manage stress, improve focus and live more fully in the moment.
Luke has spent over two decades practising and training in various meditation styles, from Vedic and Kundalini to Zen, Vipassana, and Modern Mindfulness. He has developed an approach that strips away the mystique and makes meditation easy, down-to-earth, and achievable for everyone.
Helping the Best Perform Even Better
Luke founded Workplace Wellbeing Australia and The Mindful Life App—Soul Alive, which has thousands of members worldwide. He’s also the author of the bestselling book Everyday Enlightenment, which is packed with encouragement, guidance, and short meditations to help people find inner calm without moving to the mountains to become monks.
His approach has helped high-performing athletes, celebrities and executives manage anxiety, reduce overwhelm and improve mental performance. He’s worked with global brands including AMEX, IAG, and Lululemon to integrate mindfulness into the heart of high-pressure environments.
Why Luke Joined UAre
“The thing I love most about UAre is how much it keeps my life on track easily and conveniently. I can often push ‘all-in’ in certain areas of my life, where UAre reminds me to keep things in balance and prioritise areas I often forget about.
I’m excited to be involved in UAre as I know it’s making a difference in people’s lives. We often get overwhelmed with all the ‘health advice’ out there. UAre keeps it simple, and that’s why I’m so excited to be part of it!”
