Still riding the energy from Wednesday’s panel hosted by Peoplecorp HR Recruitment Specialists — a room full of HR leaders and CEOs all asking the same critical question:
How do we help people thrive under pressure without burning them out?
I’ve had the privilege of competing on the world stage as a Surf Ironman. I’ve felt the weight of pressure, the intensity of preparation, and the cost of not recovering well, and now I see those same dynamics in boardrooms and businesses daily.
At this event, I spoke alongside a phenomenal group of thinkers and leaders: David Joyce (our brilliant moderator), Anne Rayner, CEO at Productivity Bargain, Jessica Spendlove, Executive Performance Coach, Victor Pineiro, Ocean Swimmer & VP APAC at Aptitude Software
And while we each brought a different perspective, there was a clear and urgent theme:
The old models of performance aren’t working anymore.
Australia now leads the world in burnout (Global lululemon Report, 2024). At the same time, our teams are navigating: – Shrinking resources – Constant change – More diverse and complex workforces – Rising legal and ethical responsibilities around wellbeing
This isn’t just about perks or resilience posters. It’s about systems, leadership, and data.
Why We Built UAre
That’s precisely why we created UAre — to bridge the gap between intention and action when investing in your people.
UAre is a longevity and performance company that helps organisations measure and maximise quality of life, wellbeing and productivity.
We do this by combining: - A simple app for individuals (focusing on Movement, Mindset, Relationships and Habits) - A powerful dashboard for organisations (to track ROI in human capital and understand what’s working) - Human expertise—world-class mentors, guided implementation, and evidence-based support.
The data is precise: 3x better shareholder returns from high-well-being workplaces, 50% less turnover, and up to 400% ROI on well-designed wellbeing strategies.
But here’s the kicker: only 2% of companies currently use wellbeing data to inform decisions. That’s a massive opportunity.
At UAre, we’re working with businesses ready to take well-being seriously, not as a line item but as a strategy. And they’re seeing the impact fast.
Suppose we want to build healthy, high-performing organisations. In that case, we must treat wellbeing as a KPI, use data to optimise investment in people, build recovery, not bolt it on, and empower leaders with the tools to lead with clarity and care.
This event wasn’t a talkfest. It was a turning point.
To Peoplecorp HR Recruitment Specialists, Dom Salomoni and everyone in the room, thank you for showing up intently and honestly. We need more spaces like this. And more action to follow.
One domino behaviour at a time. One shift in mindset. One team that dares to lead differently.
Let’s build the future of performance—together 🚀
