Bringing neuroscience, performance and purpose to the digital age
We’re excited to welcome Dr Kristy Goodwin to the UAre team as a mentor and advisor. Kristy is a globally recognised neuroperformance scientist, award-winning author, and thought leader in digital wellbeing. Her mission aligns perfectly with ours: helping people thrive in a fast-paced, always-on world.
Meet Dr Kristy Goodwin
Kristy works with CEOs, elite athletes, educators, and corporate teams to decode the science of sustainable high performance. Her evidence-based strategies empower individuals to work with their brains, not against them, so they can achieve success without sacrificing health, relationships, or well-being.
“You don’t have to burn yourself out to be successful,” Kristy says. “When you understand how your brain is wired and live in sync with your biological blueprint, you can perform at your best and still live a rich, fulfilling life.”
Why She’s Joining UAre
Kristy’s decision to join UAre is both personal and purposeful.
“I’m genuinely excited to be involved with UAre because it aligns closely with my mission. I want to help people achieve peak performance without paying the ‘success tax’. UAre is one of the few platforms using digital technology to reduce digital overwhelm. That’s rare.”
She was particularly drawn to how UAre blends behavioural science, neuroscience and practical tools into a seamless experience.
“UAre’s approach, which offers micro-habits, science-backed nudges and a supportive digital community, is what I see as the future of wellbeing. It’s practical, scalable and rooted in evidence.”
What is UAre?
UAre is a digital platform designed to help people live better and longer at work, home and in life. Built in Sydney, one of the world’s healthiest cities, UAre combines a user-friendly app with a powerful organisational dashboard to create a complete wellbeing ecosystem.
UAre focuses on four key pillars of health:
Movement
Mindset
Relationships
Habits
Through daily check-ins, personalised insights and mentoring, users build emotional awareness, resilience and healthy habits that stick.
For organisations, UAre delivers anonymised, aggregated data and actionable analytics. Leaders gain insights into team well-being and can invest where it matters most. This data-backed approach boosts well-being, reduces burnout, and enhances performance.
Flipping the Script on Technology
As a long-time researcher of digital habits, Kristy believes tech should support wellbeing, not sabotage it. That belief is what drew her to UAre.
“So much of our digital experience is distracting and draining. UAre uses tech to help people tune in, not check out. It nudges us toward self-awareness and meaningful connection, and neuroscience shows that’s exactly what our brains need to thrive.”
A Personal Mission
Kristy’s work is rooted in lived experience.
“After my own experiences with burnout, I became even more committed to helping people find a healthier path. Too many high achievers are quietly struggling. They’re always switched on but rarely powered up.”
Through UAre, she hopes to change that narrative and show that small behavioural shifts, supported by the right tools and mindset, can create real transformation.
The Science Behind the Strategy
Kristy brings decades of experience as a researcher, educator and advisor. She is the best-selling author of Dear Digital, We Need to Talk and Raising Your Child in a Digital World, and was named Breakthrough Speaker of the Year in 2023 by the Australian Professional Speakers Association.
At UAre, she joins a world-class team of mentors with expertise in performance psychology, medicine, elite sport, behavioural science and leadership.
Welcome, Kristy!
Dr Kristy Goodwin is more than a mentor. She is a movement-maker. Her unique blend of science, strategy and heart will help shape the future of UAre and support thousands of users in building healthy, high-performing lives.
We’re incredibly proud to have her on board.
